A wrap should last anywhere from five to seven years depending on brand, installation, wear and tear, or weather conditions.
Wraps will not damage factory paint. Actually, wraps are perfect for protecting and preserving the original paint job! Only paint in poor condition will be pulled up or damaged when removing a wrap.
The whole process can take between 2-3 business day. Time varies depending on the size of the vehicle, complexity of the design, and the how much of the vehicle needs to be wrapped.
Always get permission before getting your vehicle wrapped. Generally, most car leasing companies prefer the the vehicle to be wrapped because of the protection it provides to the car.
The damaged part of your wrap can easily be replaced without having to re-wrap the entire vehicle.
Keep the vehicle clean and clear of any contaminants. Hand washing the wrap is best. Try to avoid high pressure washes. Never use ice scrapers on window graphics.
Costs are different for every vehicle. You can expect to pay more for larger vehicles or small vehicles with more curves and indentations. It also depends on the amount of coverage, complexity of the design, and type of vinyl.
If you are using a wrap as business promotion, this is by far the cheapest method of advertisement. You would be getting your business in front of hundreds of potential clients just by driving around. If you are using a wrap to improve the appearance of the vehicle, a wrap is not only cost-efficient, but it preserves the quality of the original paint job.
Vehicle wraps are opaque, so the base color will not show through. However, the base color can be seen in the cracks or anywhere the wrap isn’t covering. We have found that it’s best to start with a white or black base color.
